Harvesting system used for hybrid lavander and other plants whose
stems have a minimum length of 25cm. This harvesting process is used
on farms where lavander is cultivated on small surfaces, mostly
situated in mountain zones.
Once stems are cut off by the cutting parts, they are stored into
the binding canal where the sheaf is made. When the latter is
finished, it is either ejected onto the ground or it can be picked
up by a transporter and stocked in a hopper.
a) sheaf-binder harvester
ref. RPPO5, adapted on the side of a tractor, for each
tractor an adaptation is necessary (when exported, it must be done
either by the client or by a technician specialized in agriculture
equipment). 50 to 70 horsepower are required for the carrying
tractor ( 2 or 4 wheel drive).
